Poland to establish repair center for Leopard 2 tanks from Ukraine
On Friday, April 21, at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the Ramstein format, a meeting of the heads of the defense departments of the countries that are part of the so-called "tank coalition" took place.
Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov reported on its results on Twitter.
According to him, at the meeting, a letter of intent was signed to create in Poland a maintenance and service center for Leopard 2 main battle tanks, which were previously delivered to Ukraine.
"This will contribute to strengthening our cooperation and the capabilities of Ukrainian defenders," Reznikov noted.
A "tank coalition" meeting was held.

On April 20, the mass media reported that Poland was negotiating the maintenance of the Leopard tanks transferred to Ukraine.
Earlier, a T-64 repair center for Ukraine opened in Poland. Bumar-Labędy and "Ukroboronprom" have jointly created a technology center that will deal with the repair of T-64 tanks, their maintenance, combat capability maintenance, and restoration to complete working order.
