Austria hands over four ambulances for war-torn Kyiv region
Austrian allies handed over four ambulances for medical facilities in the Kyiv region that were destroyed as a result of armed Russian aggression, local authorities report.
Currently, the vehicles are in the Zakarpattia region, where they will head to the capital. A delegation from the federal state of Burgenland of the Republic of Austria visited the region to present their aid.
Four Volkswagen ambulances were handed over to healthcare facilities in the Kyiv region that were destroyed during Russian hostilities.
The Odesa Regional Emergency Medical Center received 8 ambulances as part of the international aid campaign.
Ukraine also received a bus from Norway to evacuate the wounded soldiers.
The Canadian Red Cross opened medical cabinets "on wheels" for Ukraine. Now they serve as immediate assistance vehicles in the Cherkasy region.
