Russian troops shell border area of Ukraine's Sumy region
On Monday, April 17, as of 18:00, the Russian army shelled the border of the Sumy region twice.
This was reported by the operational command "North" on Telegram.
From 1:42 p.m. to 1:55 p.m., nine hits, probably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of the settlement of Katerynivka.
In addition, from 4:05 p.m. to 4:50 p.m., 27 hits, probably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of Yasna Polyana settlement.
"No information was received about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure," the message reads.
