Google releases Interland, an online game teaching children internet safety, in Ukrainian
Google Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation cooperated and launched the Ukrainian-language version of the online game "Interland: Children's Safety on the Internet."
The education ministry's press service reports in a statement that Interland is a controlled imaginary educational environment that engages children to acquire knowledge about digital security.
"The game immerses them in a simulated world where children, together with the city residents and Internet users, complete various adventure tasks," the statement reads.
"The Kingdom of Kindness" in the simulated world helps to learn how to behave politely in the network; "River of Reality" teaches kids to recognize fakes; "Careful Mountain" educates them to share information safely on the web; "Treasure Tower" teaches children how to keep personal information safe.
The game is available on all devices.
