Slovakia delivers all 13 MiG-29 fighter jets pledged to Ukraine

Slovakia has transferred all thirteen promised MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, the Minister of Defense of Slovakia, Jaroslav Nad, announced.
"All 13 Slovak MiG-29s have been safely handed over to Ukrainian Air Force. Proud to be on the right side, doing the right thing to help protect lives. We stand with Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter.

In March, the Slovak government approved sending 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. The country delivered the first four planes last month.
Slovakia joined Poland in the decision to transfer fighter jets.
