UNICEF donates 1,500 Chromebooks and tablets to vulnerable children in Ukraine's east
The UNICEF fund donated over 1,500 Chromebooks and tablets to children from the most vulnerable categories in the eastern Dnipropetrovsk region, which is now home to many displaced families.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reports that children received over 760 tablets and about the same number of Chromebooks — laptops that focus on working on the Internet.
Gadgets were handed over to community representatives. After, they will be given to the most vulnerable children — displaced children, orphans, and children from large and low-income families.
The administration added that the tablets come with headphones and cases and Chromebooks with bags.
In total, UNICEF donated 10,000 gadgets to 12 regions of Ukraine, namely, the war-battered Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
