Solutions to win: Ukrainian volunteers develop and test new FPV strike drone

Ukrainians created and tested a new FPV strike drone.

"The initial test of the assembled FPV strike drone has been successful. Further assessments will be performed throughout the week to determine the exact technical specifications," – the message reads.

It is noted that this drone will carry ammunition weighing up to 5 kg.

The flight range is up to 5 km.

This vehicle has two video cameras and can be further outfitted with a thermal imager. Additionally, it is capable of circumventing enemy radio-electronic warfare systems.

The drone aims to destroy the enemy's human resources, shelters, firing points, and armored vehicles.

11 quadcopters and accessories for them were handed over to the Kyiv region for the needs of the State Emergency Service.

As Rubryka wrote earlier, during the nine months of its existence, the Army of Drones initiative, which operates within the UNITED24 project, contracted 3,200 UAVs. The campaign is worth over $107 million, Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation and Minister of Digital Transformation, reports.

Moreover, Ukraine uses the Australian low-cost disposable cargo drones made by Australian company SYPAQ Systems to perform front-line logistics tasks.
