The Museum of Ethnography of the National Reserve "Ancient Halych" in Ukraine's western city of Halych will show a part of the unique collection of traditional Easter Eggs. It was saved from the Dobropark landscape park in the Makariv district, Kyiv region, destroyed by the Russian invaders.

Rubryka reports, referring to the Facebook page of the National Reserve, "Ancient Halych," that the "Renaissance Easter Eggs" exhibition opens on Easter Tuesday, April 18.

"In the first days of the war, the enemy mercilessly attacked Dobropark, where most of the Easter eggs were. Today, only 120 of the more than 800 art objects have survived. Some of them are now exhibited in the Museum of Ethnography and the [Ukrainian parliament] Verkhovna Rada courtyard," the reserve added.

The BuduyUA Fund was created this year to convey to the whole world the extent of the problem of the destruction of cultural heritage and also to show the brave and free struggle of the entire Ukrainian people against Russian aggression.

In the spring of 2023, charity auctions for the sale of 100 surviving Easter eggs will be organized in several cities in the USA and Canada. The funds received will be earmarked to restore Lyceum N 2 in the war-battered Hostomel, Kyiv region.
