"1,000 drones for Ukraine" is an ambitious project launched this week.

The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reports that the initiative was created by several volunteer foundations that have been providing considerable assistance to the Ukrainian military for a long time.

What is the problem?

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are courageously resisting the Russian onslaught. The military needs a lot of different military equipment and weapons. It is equally essential for soldiers to have a sufficient number of drones because they are the eyes of Ukraine's reconnaissance. Drones can also be used for attacks on enemy forces.

"The advantage in the sky is what decides the fate of many battles in the current war. The presence of drones in the army cannot be overestimated," the head of the region emphasized.

What is the solution?

Volunteers launched a project of 1,000 drones for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The goal of this initiative is the cooperation of all efforts to purchase and transfer 1,000 drones to the defenders of Ukraine, who guard and protect Ukraine's borders.

The project was presented in Lviv earlier this week by Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, and Hanna Krysiuk. head of the International Assitance Headquarters for Ukrainians, Liubov Shypovich, Dignitas director; Maria Berlinska, Victory Drones project manager; Tymofii Mylovanov, the president of the Kyiv School of Economics.

The International Assistance Headquarters for Ukrainians and the Dignitas Fund launched an initiative where they will transfer drones during their missions to the front lines in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

How does it work?

Today, this project was presented together with its participants in the Donetsk region. Already today, the unit fighting in the Donetsk region received its first Mavic 3 drones from the International Assitance Headquarters for Ukrainians and the Lviv Defense Cluster. The military also received pickup trucks, generators, charging stations, and power banks.
