Ukraine restores 85% of the energy infrastructure damaged by russian attacks in the Kyiv region, the State Inspectorate of Ukraine for Energy Supervision reports.

The Kyiv region has become one of the main targets of military aggression during the full-scale war. During this time, kilometers of power lines as well as hundreds of electricity and heat supply facilities, have been damaged or completely destroyed.

"Active repairs are ongoing in the region, but almost all boiler houses have resumed operations. As of today, representatives of the State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision have inspected 879 damaged power grid facilities and identified 681 defective acts." the statement says.

Ukraine's state energy enterprise DTEK lost 6 billion UAH due to russian attacks this winter. More than a thousand pieces of the equipment were damaged.

Ukrenergo removed all network restrictions that led to the need for limited electricity consumption.

Ukraine is preparing to resume the export of electricity to Europe, which will allow receiving up to $70 million in profits every month.
