Ukrainian project "Before the Future" will take part in 2023 Biennale Architecture
The Ukrainian project "Before the Future" will be presented at the Architecture Biennale 2023 in Venice.
Rubryka reports, citing Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, that the International Architectural Exhibition will last from May 20 to November 26.
"From May 20 to November 26, Venice will host the 18th International Architecture Exhibition or Architecture Biennale 2023 under the name 'Laboratory of the Future.' Participants' exhibitions will be organized in the historical pavilion in the Giardini, in the Arsenale, and the center of Venice," says the statement.
Among all the projects, Ukraine's Before the Future will be presented and supervised by:
- Iryna Miroshnykova,
- Oleksii Petrov,
- Borys Filonenko.
The Venice Biennale consists of several thematic events:
- arts,
- architecture,
- cinema,
- theater,
- dance,
- music.
"Biennale" means "biennial" in Italian. That is, the exhibition is held once every two years.
Each biennale lasts two months and receives more than 130,000 visitors. The Architecture Biennale began its life in 1975. In 1980, it finally became a separate exhibition with a wide range of participants.
