Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky will sign a deal on supplies for Ukraine during his visit to Poland.
The defense deal includes Polish armored personnel carriers Rosomak and other equipment, Bloomberg reports.
On April 5, Zelensky visited Poland for a joint meeting with the state's leader Andrzej Duda. Ukraine's president planned to discuss defense and economic cooperation during a series of meetings with Polish government officials.
Zelensky is expected to sign a deal on additional military equipment to Ukraine.
"Zelensky and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will on Wednesday sign a letter of intent for the delivery of defense equipment." the statement says.
The deal includes the Polish-made KTO Rosomak armored personnel carrier.
On the morning of April 5, Ukraine's leader arrived on an official visit to Poland, where he met with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda. He honored Zelensky with the country's highest award.
The leaders will talk about road maps for the regional integration of Ukraine with Poland, the Baltic countries, and Scandinavia.
So far, it is known Poland has handed over eight MiG-29 fighter aircraft to Ukraine and is preparing to send six more jets.
Ukrainian media perceive the visit of Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska as a big event. The whole world looks at them as a symbol of indomitability, and this symbol is coming to Poland.
