"Come Back Alive" charity fund completed fundraising for the "Long Arms of Territorial Defense" project, during which 333 million hryvnias were collected.

The fund writes about this on its Twitter.

What is the problem?

Although during the hostilities, the russian army lost thousands of military equipment and spent hundreds of thousands of rounds on shelling, it still continues to prevail in terms of equipment and human resources in certain directions.

In some areas, the invaders have ten times more equipment than the Ukrainians.

What is the solution?

The fund announced a fundraiser for the "Long Arms of Territorial Defense" project. The initiative aims to purchase six 120 mm mortars, auxiliary equipment, and supplies for each Territorial defense brigade.

How does it work?

The collection of funds was organized separately for each region; one set of equipment costs more than 10 million hryvnias.

On March 31, an unknown benefactor donated more than 48 million hryvnias and helped close all regions lacking funds.

Each Territorial defense team will receive a set from the fund, which will include the following:

  • six 120 mm mortars,
  • three pickup trucks,
  • 14 radio stations,
  • three drones;
  • tablet computers, night vision devices, Starlink, generators, etc.

In addition, in December 2022, the "Come Back Alive" fund collected 230 million hryvnias for a black box for Ukrainian intelligence, which will reduce the offensive potential of the enemy.

For reference:

In 2014, when russia annexed Crimea and initiated a violent war in Donbas, the "Come back alive" fund was established by Vitaliy Deineha, uniting people of diverse backgrounds and professions with the same shared mission of confronting the occupiers.

Over the years, the organization has done many good deeds and continues to do so, being the biggest supporter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Several members of the Return Alive team have prior experience in combat.

"Come back alive" charity fund spheres of activities include the following:

  • to locate, purchase and deliver the necessary supplies for the army,
  • to set up and manage mobile observation posts,
  • to provide professional training for service persons,
  • to assist veterans in starting and expanding their businesses,
  • to take other steps to bolster Ukraine.
