Ukraine launched the "How are you?" information campaign about the importance of taking care of your mental health. It is implemented within the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, Rubryka reports.
What is the problem?
The permanent stress of Ukrainians has been going on for over a year, and its name is a full-scale invasion. The war took a toll on Ukrainians' emotional state and psyche. Sometimes they put away their experiences and emotional wounds as far as possible, in an imaginary safe, because it seems that now is not the time. Ukrainians are too concentrated and too mobilized on other issues. However, mental health issues are essential in the context of Ukraine's and society's future.
What is the solution?
As part of the All-Ukrainian mental health program initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, the information campaign "How are you?" was launched.
How does it work?
The campaign aims to promote and form a culture of mental health care in society, provide understanding, and show tools to help Ukrainians take care of their internal state.
"Against the background of alarming daily news, rocket attacks, human grief, and trouble, asking yourself 'How are you?' seems out of time. Psychological well-being and understanding of what is happening in our inner world are more timely than ever," Zelenska noted.
As part of the campaign, a special page has been created that offers contacts, links, tips, products, techniques, and methods to help you care for your mental health and those around you.
