russian missile attack on Sloviansk kills two civilians, wounds 29

Two people were killed as a result of russian strikes on Sloviansk, Donetsk region, on the morning of March 27. The rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the head of the Donetsk Regional Government Pavlo Kyrylenko, the State Emergency Service, reported this on their Telegram channels.

"Another day that began with russia's terrorism. The aggressor state shelled our Sloviansk. Unfortunately, there is a dead person and victims of varying severity. All services are working on the spot. Help is being provided. Debris dismantling is ongoing," the President noted.

The head of the Donetsk region, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported that as of 1:00 p.m., the number of dead had increased to 2 and the number of wounded to 29.

The President published a video from the place of arrival. It shows destruction and fire in several cars.

Kyrylenko reported that the russians hit the city center at around 10:30 am with two S300 missiles.

As a result of the shelling, administrative and office buildings, five high-rise buildings, and seven private buildings were destroyed.

The head of the region added that simultaneously, the occupiers launched a rocket attack on Druzhkivka.

Two S300 rockets hit the Druzhkivka orphanage and almost destroyed it.
