Pentagon finds no signs russia plans to use nuclear weapons

The Pentagon believes there are no signs that russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons after the aggressor country's dictator, vladimir putin, stated that moscow and minsk have agreed to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of belarus.

The US Department of Defense emphasized that they had seen the message about russia's statement and would continue to monitor this situation.

" We have not seen any reason to adjust our own strategic nuclear posture, nor any indications russia is preparing to use a nuclear weapon. We remain committed to the collective defense of the NATO alliance, " the Pentagon said.

It should be noted that the deputy head of the russian Security Council, dmytriy medvedev, said that the threat of a nuclear conflict has increased and that arms deliveries to Ukraine are bringing a "nuclear apocalypse" closer.
