russians shell Ukraine's border areas in Chernihiv region, killing one civilian
russian invaders shelled border areas of northern Chernihiv region.
One civilian was killed, the Operational Command North said this in a Telegram post.
Around 12:20 a report was received about shelling, probably from a 120 mm mortar, in the area of the settlement of Horodyshche. A private house burned down and a local resident died.
"Once again, we emphasize that visiting the border strip is extremely dangerous for life. We urge you to move deep into the territory for at least 20 kilometers," the North OC reports.
On March 19, the russian army shelled a number of villages in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, using self-propelled artillery and mortars.
Neither casualties nor equipment losses were reported in any of the strikes.
