russian attacks bombard Kherson, killing one civilian

In the last 24 hours, March 22, russian troops shelled the Kherson region in Ukraine's south 54 times, firing 319 shells from heavy artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers.

Rubryka reports, referring to the report by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on Telegram.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 54 rounds of shelling, firing 319 shells from heavy artillery and Grads," he said.

According to Prokudin, the russian army shelled Kherson, the front-line city liberated from russian occupation in November 2022, 5 times.

Nineteen shells struck residential neighborhoods and private and apartment buildings.

"Unfortunately, there are victims. One person died, and two were injured," Prokudin stressed.

He added that due to constant bombardment, another 91 people were evacuated from the region's territory that had been liberated from the russian invaders.

On March 22, a farmer in the Beryslav district of the Kherson region was blown up by a russian mine while performing fieldwork. The incident happened in a field near the village of Chervone. There, a 65-year-old man received life-threatening injuries after being blown up by a russian mine.
