The Netherlands will send another 60 instructors to Germany to train Ukrainian fighters.

The Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Kajsa Ollongren, announced this on Twitter, Rubryka reports.

"The Netherlands is sending 60 more soldiers to Germany to train the Ukrainian military. This contribution is in addition to the 230 military personnel that the Ministry of Defense recently provided to participate in the EU training mission," the statement reads.

The defense minister noted that this year, together with European colleagues, they would contribute to training a total of 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers.

As Ukrinform reported, in February, it became known that the Netherlands would send another 230 soldiers to Germany to train Ukrainian fighters this year.

The first thirty Dutch troops will be sent in April and May for four weeks. Another two hundred in August and September for six weeks.

Dutch military personnel continuously train Ukrainians in Great Britain throughout the year.
