Death toll rises to seven from russian drone attack on Kyiv region

From under the rubble of a dormitory in the city of Rzhyshchiv, the Kyiv region, emergency services workers recovered the bodies of 3 more people, as of this time the number of victims of the overnight russian drone attack has increased to 7.

Viktoriia Ruban, Spokesperson for the State Emergency Service in the Kyiv region, says this to Ukrainska Pravda.

"The number of victims has increased. 7 dead were found at 2:30 p.m." she said.

Ruban added that the rescuers continue to dismantle the debris – these works are not finished yet.

Earlier, it was reported that three people were killed and seven others injured in the overnight russian attack on the Kyiv region, school dormitories were damaged, and four more people are being searched for under the rubble.

In the city of Rzhyshchiv, the Kyiv region, as a result of an enemy drone attack, the 4th and 5th floors of two five-story dormitories and the educational building of a professional lyceum were partially destroyed: three people died and 7 were injured, including a child.

The Kyiv region Police Head Andriy Nebytov later specified that the fourth victim was a 40-year-old driver who had not gone to a shelter during the air-raid.
