Rubryka delivers US readers’ donation of knitted clothes to Ukrainian children

Back in January, Lynn Dubai from North Carolina, USA, wrote to Rubryka telling us that she and her friends, who are fond of knitting, came across one of our articles about the Ukrainian community of knitters working tirelessly to warm the hands and hearts of soldiers at the front line. They wanted to know how they could help out – and now we are proud to report that we were able to weave a solution enabling our American readers to join efforts with Ukrainians and help little ones in need.

We've just received two huge shipments of more than three hundred hats, scarves, and gloves of all different sizes – which our team handed over to teenagers and adults at two orphanages for children with physical and mental disabilities in Kyiv. Now. the third package has reached its new owners at the Kyiv region perinatal center received it. These are children from very birth to one-year-old whose parents are no longer with them.

We are grateful to our readers for being able to share a bit of warmth with Ukrainian children from all the way across the ocean. We invite everyone to join in making good news happen and making solutions go viral!
