Warrant for putin's arrest valid for life – ICC prosecutor
An international warrant for the arrest of the president of russia, vladimir putin, and russia's children's ombudsman, maria lvova-belova, has been issued for life.
The prosecutor of the ICC stated this, Karim Khan, BBC Radio 4 reports.
"The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, said that vladimir putin and the commissioner for children's affairs, maria lvova-belova, are threatened with an arrest warrant for the rest of their lives," the post reads.

On March 17, the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for vladimir putin and maria lvova-belova.
The president of the russian federation and the commissioner of the president of the russian federation for children are suspected of war crimes – illegal deportation and relocation of the population, including children, from the occupied territory of Ukraine at least since February 24, 2022.
