Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, denied information previously reported by media about 100,000 killed Ukrainian soldiers.

Oleksiy Danilov stated this in an interview with "Interfax-Ukraine."

It should be noted that Politico, citing American military officials, recently wrote that during the full-scale russian war against Ukraine, more than 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded.

"I declare to you with full responsibility that we do not have 100,000 casualties among the military. It's impossible," Danilov said.

According to him, the military and President Volodymyr Zelensky know the exact number of casualties.

He emphasized that the information about losses during the war is classified, but "100,000 is completely untrue."

"Our ratio of losses to the enemy is 1 to 7, 1 to 8, and in some cases 1 to 10. The backbone of our army was prepared after the war of the 14th year, we knew how to fight, but there was no such thing in russia," – the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine said.

Danilov noted that the russians had "simply insane" losses in many areas.

For reference:

It will be recalled that Ian Stubbs, the senior military adviser of the delegation of Great Britain to the OSCE, noted that russia lost up to 30,000 soldiers killed and wounded near Bakhmut.

NATO stated that russia is losing up to 1,500 soldiers daily during the current offensive.
