Ukrainian artist sells his clay models of soldiers and volunteers to help Armed Forces
An artist from Ivano-Frankivsk creates clay models of Ukrainian soldiers and volunteers to donate them for the Armed Forces.
He will sell collection of 16 clay models, Ukrainian media "From Tarnopol to Ternopil" reports.
The artist's name is Bohdan Savliuk from Ivano-Frankivsk. The man has been fond of sculpting since childhood. At first, he sculpted figures from plasticine, until he found out about polymer clay. That's how a new hobby was born.
The "Warriors of Light" series consists of 16 models of people who contributed to the future victory of Ukraine.
Among them are soldiers, volunteers, rescuers, diplomats and musicians.
Previously, the artist created miniatures for cartoons ("Warm Toys") and music videos ("Kozak System").
In 2020, Bohdan created the "Olympus" series, which he timed for World Writer's Day. The heroes of the figures of the series were Ukrainian writers in the images of ancient Greek gods.
The man plans to sell the new collection at a charity auction in his hometown Ivano-Frankivsk.
Profits will be directed to the support of 102 separate brigades of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Vitovsky Armed Forces.
