Ukraine launches project to aid its pediatric cancer patients

The Tabletochki charity fund, together with the Ukrainian brand Oliz, launched the "Unbreakable Flower" project to help children who fight cancer.

What's the problem?

Over a million people fight cancer in Ukraine. 140.000 new cases of the illness are recorded yearly. Due to the full-scale war, most patients fled abroad to cure their diagnosis. Some stayed in Ukraine to find proper chemotherapy and necessary medicine.

What's the solution?

"Today's conditions of war in Ukraine make our patients struggle. We designed a silk scarf with flowers: snowdrops and daffodils, which are associated with the indomitability of the fund's wards – girls who have defeated cancer," the project hosts say.

How does it work?

As part of this project, a silk scarf with primroses was created, 20% of the sale of which will go to help children who fight cancer and require immediate aid.

Anyone can order the scarf using the link.
