All de-occupied settlements of the Mykolaiv region now have electricity restored.

At the time of the de-occupation of the Sniguriv District last year in November, there were 88 settlements in the Mykolaiv region that had lost power as a result of hostilities.

Employees of "Mykolaivoblenergo" were among the first to get to the vacated areas and began restoration work.

Currently, after four months of work in extremely difficult conditions, the last of the disconnected settlements – Tamarine – has been revived.

Today, about 300 households in the Mykolaiv region have electricity restored.

The recently liberated settlements in the Mykolaiv region still live in devastating conditions. During the long months of russian reign, the power supply was disrupted, many infrastructural facilities were destroyed beyond repair, and landmines were planted all around. Despite this, the locals are trying to return home.
