Ukraine's Air Force shot down 11 Iranian Shahed drones at night
Late in the evening on March 17, the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 out of 16 Shahed-type drones.
The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on Telegram.
"The russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type. The attack was carried out from two directions – from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov and the Bryansk region of the russian federation.
The forces and means of the Center, East, and West air commands of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 attack UAVs in the central, western, and eastern regions," the military said.

The Air Force also reported that, in total, 16 drones attacked Ukrainian regions last night.

As Rubryka wrote, yesterday evening, March 17, an air-raid alert was announced in Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine on Friday evening due to an attack by kamikaze drones.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the russian invaders directed kamikaze drones at critical infrastructure objects; three drones were destroyed in the Dnipro district. Still, two UAVs hit a critical infrastructure object in the city of Novomoskovsk.
Air defense forces destroyed all Shahed-type drones that attacked Kyiv.
