Over 1,350 children live on the front line in Zaporizhzhia region

In the Zaporizhzhia region, families raising 1,353 children still live in communities on the line of fire.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.

"There are still 892 families living in communities on the line of fire, in which 1,353 children are being raised," the post reads.

The regional authorities continue trying to persuade people to leave, guaranteeing to provide the necessary accommodation for families.

It is noted that currently, the forced evacuation of children is carried out only in Bakhmut. Still, with a significant increase in shelling, these measures may be extended to other front-line territories.

To ensure the children's safety, the families where they are raised must voluntarily evacuate to the regional center, where they will be provided with the necessary assistance.

The government of Ukraine approved the mechanism of forced evacuation of children from active combat zones.

Ukraine's Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories reported on Telegram that this decision was initiated and developed by the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population. Protecting children's lives and immediate evacuation from dangerous territories were taken under personal control by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk.

Compulsory evacuation of children will be accompanied by one of the parents, a person who replaces them, or another legal representative.
