Ukrainian AI developers open portal to the past with educational chatbot featuring historical figures
The Ukrainian educational project Naurok has developed a chat where you can communicate with historical figures, Rubryka reports.
What is the problem?
Currently, the educational process takes place remotely in many regions of Ukraine. Learning for children is more common through social media, and reading books is not always desirable, especially if it concerns ancient events.
What is the solution?
Thanks to the chat, traveling to the past and communicating with famous historical figures who changed Ukraine and the world will be easy and possible.
Writers, statespeople, scientists, inventors, artists — prominent figures become closer thanks to chatting with artificial intelligence.
How does it work?
Naurok uses the most modern artificial intelligence technology to simulate communication with historical figures as close as possible to a real dialogue. Each conversation is entirely unique. But note that the facts offered by artificial intelligence must be verified, as they may contain inaccuracies.
You can build a dialogue with Kyiv Prince Yaroslav Mudry, philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda, poet Taras Shevchenko, writer Olha Kobylianska, poet and dissident Vasyl Stus, and Winston Churchill in the chat. It works for free and without registration.

As the developers note, working with the chat teaches students the culture of communication and develops the ability to formulate questions succinctly and critically analyze information. However, they recommend checking the answers in the chat because there may be inaccuracies.
