“The time of freedom is approaching”: Crimean partisans stage bold protest

In the temporarily captured Crimea, Ukrainian partisans staged a bold protest. Activists repaint the symbol of the russian occupiers, "Z," drawn all over Crimean streets, into blue and yellow hourglasses.

In this way, the partisans decided to warn the russians that their time to leave Ukrainian territories was running out. The Yellow Ribbon resistance movement published photos on its Telegram channel, Rubryka reports.

Activists recalled that on February 26, they launched a campaign called "The time of de-occupation is approaching." They called on citizens from temporarily occupied cities to turn the russian occupation symbol "Z" into an hourglass.

Today, March 16, is the anniversary of the pseudo-referendum on the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and it is very symbolic that the "hourglass" action was started in Crimea.

"Occupation began in Crimea, so will the de-occupation," the partisans said.

Resistance actions were held in the peninsula's cities, such as Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yevpatoria, and Kerch.

Activists remind putin's army and their accomplices that the occupation is temporary. They also advised russians to look for train tickets to Ulan-Ude or stand in line for a ferry crossing to Novorossiysk.

The occupiers in Alushta fined the war protester for "discrediting" the russian army. He was forced to pay 30 thousand rubles (about UAH 14.7 thousand).

The other day, patriots in Crimea held a new campaign, reminding the occupiers that they would have to flee the peninsula. In Simferopol, Crimeans laid flowers at the monument to national poet Taras Shevchenko.

It was also reported that the invaders were selling their real estate in Crimea. Apartments and houses are put up for sale too cheaply to make it in time for the arrival of the Ukrainian army.
