First French AMX-10 RC wheeled tanks arrived in Ukraine

The French AMX-10 RC wheeled tanks, which were promised to the Ukrainian military in January of this year, have arrived in Ukraine, and some of them are already on the front line.
Sébastien Lecornu, Frenсh Defense Minister, announced this on March 15 at the Defense Commission of the National Assembly, Le Figaro reports.
"The AMX-10 RC armored reconnaissance vehicles promised by France at the beginning of January "just arrived in Ukraine," Lecornu said.
The delivery was supposed to take place two months after the announcement. First, it was necessary to prepare the crews and train them. It took place at the Saumur Cavalry School and the Kanjuers camp. After that, already send armored vehicles.
"I am preparing a number of solutions for French President Emmanuel Macron because these light tanks will soon fall under the responsibility of the Ukrainian partner," he stated.
France had announced the sending of AMX-10 RC armored vehicles, while a debate agitated the chancelleries on the advisability of delivering battle tanks, German Leopards, or American Abrams. France has only a few combat tanks (about 200 operational), and "the second thing is that we no longer produce them".
