NATO ready to up Ukraine's air defense, armored vehicles, ammunition – Stoltenberg
NATO allies are ready to provide Ukraine with more air defense systems, armored vehicles, and ammunition.
This is reported on the NATO website based on the results of the meeting of the Contact Group in the Rammstein format with the participation of the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg.
" NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg participated in a virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on Wednesday (15 March 2023), chaired by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. The discussion focused on the importance of sustaining and increasing support to Ukraine as the country continues to resist russia's brutal war of aggression." the message reads.
During the meeting, as noted, the NATO leader informed about the alliance's and member states' efforts to quickly provide Ukraine with crucial capabilities, including more air defense systems, armored vehicles, and ammunition.
"Mr. Stoltenberg stressed that ongoing work to ramp up NATO's defense industrial base is crucial for ensuring our own deterrence and defense, as well as providing support to Ukraine for as long as necessary," the press service of the Alliance noted.

An online meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format was held on March 15. The primary purpose of the meeting was to coordinate the efforts of the international community to provide Ukraine with military assistance.
NATO member states and partner countries are involved in its work – in total, more than 50 states assist Ukraine in the fight against russian aggression.
