russian missile attack kills one, injures three in Kramatorsk

russian invaders launched a rocket attack on the center of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on Tuesday, March 14, damaging six high-rise buildings and killing one person.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on his Facebook that rescue operations are ongoing, Rubryka cites.

"Kramatorsk. A russian missile hit the city center. Six high-rise buildings were damaged. At least three people were injured, and one died—my condolences to the relatives. Rescue operations are still ongoing," the head of state said.

Zelensky emphasized that russia continues to fight the civilian population, destroying lives and leaving nothing human.

"Each strike that takes an innocent life must lead to a legal and fair sentence that punishes murder. It will definitely be like that," Zelensky said.

The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, also reported on Telegram that on Tuesday, March 14, the russian occupying forces launched a rocket attack on Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. Enemy shells hit apartment buildings.

"At least three civilians were injured due to the morning shelling of Kramatorsk. The russians hit the center of the city with a rocket," Kyrylenko wrote in the message. "According to operational information, six high-rise buildings were damaged. Law enforcement officers and rescuers are working at the shelling site."

At the site of the strike, rescue operations are currently underway. There may be people under the rubble.

Later, the Prosecutor General's Office reported a victim and three wounded due to a rocket attack on Kramatorsk.

"The rocket hit an apartment building. Four wounded people were pulled out from under the rubble. One victim died in the hospital, and three more citizens were given qualified medical assistance," the report said.

To recap, russia struck Avdiivka in the Donetsk region on Tuesday night, firing four missiles. Three of them targeted the territory of industrial enterprises. One targeted a residential quarter.

"In the Donetsk direction, there was an aerial missile attack on Avdiivka at night: three missiles were aimed at the territory of industrial enterprises, one at a residential quarter," said the head of the region. "In the morning, the russians launched another air-missile attack – on Lastochkino of the Ocheretyne community. During the day, Kurakhove came under fire: a park and a house were damaged."
