russians preparing new wave of missile strikes – AFU
Currently, three russian missile carriers are deployed in the Black Sea with a probable total round of 20 Kalibr rockets.
The spokeswoman of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Ukraine's South, Natalia Humeniuk, announced this on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"Now, there are three missile carriers on combat duty. During today's morning, the enemy saturated the Black Sea with its weapons and joined two surface carriers and one submarine missile carrier. In total, the round can reach 20 'Kalibrs.' We also observe the activity of enemy aviation. As a rule, these are signs that a missile strike is being prepared. Therefore, everyone should be attentive to air raid warnings," Humeniuk said.
She noted that the submarine launches missiles quickly and is somewhat hidden from the air defense system, so the response to air alarms must be prompt.
Earlier, the South Operational Command reported on Facebook that russia took two missile carriers with 16 Kalibr missiles on board to the Black Sea.
"There is increased activity of enemy tactical aviation in the eastern direction and over the waters of the Sea of Azov. The activity of enemy reconnaissance UAVs is not excluded," the message reads.
Two surface missile carriers with up to 16 Kalibr missiles have been deployed to the Black Sea.
"The threat of a missile strike is extremely high. Do not neglect safety measures. Listen to the air warning signals," the South OC emphasized.
russian missile carriers were absent in the Black Sea in the morning.
