Solution to win: 60 mobile bomb shelters will be installed in Kherson region
The city government of Kherson ordered 60 mobile bomb shelters, which will be placed in different places in the community and region.
Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, the head of the press office of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on the air of the national TV marathon.
What is the problem?
The russian occupiers attacked the southern region of Kherson 56 times in the past day, firing more than 330 shells. Peaceful settlements were shelled with weapons like mortars, MLRS, artillery, tanks, and UAVs.
For front-line Kherson residents, it has been a daily reality with many shellings of public civilian spaces, like bus stops, schools, hospitals, and residential buildings, and multiple victims, at the hands of russian forces since Ukrainian armed forces liberated Kherson and the right-bank part of the region in November 2022.
What is the solution?
"10 shelters are coming to us. Six are already in the city," Tolokonnikov noted.
Others will be installed all over the liberated part of the Kherson region.
How does it work?
He also added that now in Kherson, charity foundations and volunteers are helping to equip existing bus stops with sandbags so that people can ensure their safety.
