Czech president to visit Ukraine in April

In April, the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, plans to visit Ukraine.

The spokeswoman of the Czech President, Marketa Rekhakova, announced this based on the results of Pavel's conversation with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ceske Noviny reports.

According to Rekhakova, Zelensky requested a phone conversation and was interested in having it happen as soon as possible after the inauguration on Thursday. He wanted to congratulate Pavel on taking office.

"We discussed the possible visit of President Pavel to Ukraine and agreed that it would take place in April. It was also about the Czech Republic's support for Ukraine in the following months," Rekhakova added.

Zelensky also reported on the telephone conversation today on Twitter, according to which the presidents also discussed the integration of Ukraine into the European Union and agreed on further cooperation.
