Ukraine's Ministry of Reintegration launched the I'm Ukrainian app for its citizens, who left the state due to russia's war.

The application is intended to make life abroad more comfortable for Ukrainians, the ministry says.

What's the problem?

russia's full-scale war in Ukraine forced thousands of citizens to leave their homes and temporarily move abroad.

What's the solution?

I'm Ukrainian app was launched specifically for Ukrainians abroad.

"It was created specifically for Ukrainian citizens who were forced to move to other countries. It is called I'm Ukrainian and is designed to make their life abroad more comfortable," the statement says.

How does it work?

Using the application, Ukrainians can find the necessary services, options for education or employment, as well as useful educational courses.
In addition, one can look for like-minded people, plan joint tours or visits to volunteer hubs, as well as add news and announcements about his own events or business openings.

Ukrainians are informed about:

  • meet-ups of Ukrainians abroad;
  • concerts of Ukrainian singers and musicians;
  • Ukrainian business abroad (which can be registered as well);
  • job applications and various courses.

The ministry notes the app is available only for Ukrainians, as it is built in a government app "Diia". There a user can confirm his citizenship.

To use the app you have to:

  • install the "Diia" app on your phone;
  • download I'm Ukrainian;
  • enter your e-mail address;
  • choose "Log in with Diia".

Currently, the app is supported in 19 countries. The access list is expanding.
