Ukrainian soldiers ready to train on NASAMS air defense systems in Norway immediately

The Air Force of Ukraine is ready to send service members for training as soon as possible to Norway to master the NASAMS air defense systems.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

"I thank the governments of Norway and the United States of America for the decision to transfer two NASAMS systems for the defense of the airspace of Ukraine!

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ready to send soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile troops to Norway for training as soon as possible," said the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk.

The report emphasizes that the NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system has already proven its effectiveness in Ukraine.

For reference:

On March 10, Norway announced the country, in cooperation with the US, would provide Ukraine with two complete NASAMS air defense systems.

It should be noted that the Patriot anti-aircraft missile complexes, which Ukraine will receive from the allies, can shoot down not only ballistic missiles but also enemy aircraft that attack the territory of Ukraine from temporarily occupied territories.
