Ukraine's armed forces struck nearly 20 russian military targets overnight

Missile troops and artillery units of Ukraine's armed forces struck the control post of russian troops, six personnel concentration areas, two logistics centers, three ammunition depots, and six electronic warfare stations.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published this information in their daily report on Facebook.
"In the last 24 hours, the russian federation launched another series of massive missile attacks on the critical infrastructure of our state and the homes of the civilian population," the statement says. "The russian aggressor does not give up its intentions to occupy Ukraine. The enemy continues to use terror tactics, thereby grossly violating the norms of international humanitarian law."
According to the General Staff, the russian aggressor launched 95 missiles from various bases on Thursday, March 9. the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 34 missiles. The russian forces also carried out 31 airstrikes, in particular, using 8 Shahed-136 UAVs, half of which were shot down. In addition, russia fired 65 rounds from multiple rocket launchers. The level of missile threat remains high throughout Ukraine, the General Staff warns.

On the directions of the historical areas of Volyn, Poliske, Siveria, and Sloboda in Ukraine's northwest, north, and northeast, the operational situation has not changed significantly. russia maintains a military presence on the territory of the republic of belarus, but the formation of offensive groups has not been detected. At the same time, the russian army continues engineering equipment in the border areas of russia's Kursk region. In the direction of Bakhmut, russian forces don't stop the assault on the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous attacks in Zaliznyanske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, and Ivanivske areas. Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Minkivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, and Mayorsk came under enemy fire.
On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Vodiane, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Vuhledar of the Donetsk region. Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Heorhiivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Pobieda, Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Neskuchne came under enemy fire.
The occupiers are defending themselves in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia and southern Kherson directions. Areas of Vremivka, Novosilka, and Novopil settlements of Donetsk region were shelled; Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske of the Zaporizhia region, as well as Mykhailivka and Kherson.
As the General Staff informs, once again, russian invaders, to discredit the Defense Forces of Ukraine, are committing criminal acts in the temporarily captured territories of the Kherson region. This time, residents of the occupied city of Oleshky came under mortar fire from the occupiers.
In Rubizhne, Luhansk region, the russian forces deployed troops in residential quarters, hiding behind the civilian population. The occupying forces' military personnel are housed on the first and second floors, and civilians are left to live above.
"Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine's Air Force has struck 13 airstrikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, as well as an attack on an anti-aircraft missile complex at a firing position," the report says. "At the same time, units of missile forces and artillery struck the control post, six areas of concentration of enemy personnel, two logistics centers, three ammunition warehouses, six electronic warfare stations, and two anti-aircraft vehicles in a firing position," the General Staff concluded.
