Ukraine receives two Gepard anti-aircraft guns from Germany
Ukraine received two more Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns from Germany.
The military package includes ammunition as well, Germany's government reports.
According to the updated list, together with the two Gepard anti-aircraft guns delivered, their total number reached 34. In the current aid package, 6,000 sets of ammunition were also transferred to them.
In addition to vehicles, two patrol cars for border guards were delivered (previously, Ukraine received 120 such units) and six mobile antenna systems (in addition to 24).
All aid was transferred from industrial reserves.
Germany plans to send 13 BEAVER bridge-laying tanks and 500 SFP9 pistols
The German Ministry of Defense announced the transfer of 18 Leopard tanks by the end of March. The IRIS-T air defense system is also due to arrive soon in addition to the first one delivered last year.
Germany provides the largest military aid to Ukraine among EU countries.
