Ukraine joins EU-wide defense meeting in Sweden

Today, March 8, Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Oleksii Reznikov, is visiting Sweden. During an informal meeting with the heads of the defense departments of the EU countries, he will discuss the issue of providing weapons to Ukraine.
Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced he would participate in an informal meeting of EU defense ministers in Stockholm on Twitter.
"The meeting of EU defense ministers started in Sweden. I'm happy to be here. We will talk about weapons, speed in decisions and solidarity. Thank you to Minister Pål Jonson and High Representative Josep Borrell for organization the meeting with our EU colleagues!" Reznikov wrote.
The event's main goal is to discuss further support for Ukraine in resisting russian aggression.

The Ukrainian minister thanked the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, and the Swedish defense minister, Pål Jonson, for organizing the meeting.
Earlier, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the ministers of the EU countries would meet in early March to discuss the problem of supplying ammunition to Ukraine. Borrell called on EU countries to transfer ammunition from their stocks to Ukraine.
