9,000 Ukrainian soldiers to undergo training in Germany this year
Germany will train 9.000 Ukrainian troops by the end of 2023.
The statement was made at a meeting of EU defense ministers in Sweden, says Boris Pistorius, Germany's Defense Minister.
"Defense Minister Pistorius announced the delivery of 18 German Leopard 2 to Ukraine by the end of this month and the training of about 9,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of the year." the statement says.

An informal meeting of EU defense ministers is taking place in Stockholm on March 7-8 under the auspices of Sweden, which presides over the European Union. The key issue at the meeting is the acceleration of military support to Ukraine.
