Ukraine to use ChatGPT to improve digital infrastructure
The Ministry of Digital Transformation is exploring ChatGPT and considering its potential to improve public administration and develop digital infrastructure.
In an interview with Ukrinform, Mstislav Banik, head of electronic services development at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, talked about this tool as applicable only at the primary level but also helping to solve routine tasks and contribute to the more efficient performance of this or that work.
"As for solving complex problems, we understand that digitalization is not only a technical but also a creative process," Banik said. "But we are investigating this tool and considering its possibilities in improving public administration and developing digital infrastructure."
Banik noted that ChatGPT is artificial intelligence (AI) based on deep learning technology. This allows it to collect and process a vast amount of information. At the same time, the capabilities of AI are constantly growing as it learns from new data every day.
As reported, in February 2023, Ukraine was removed from the list of countries where the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT is blocked. This was facilitated by official letters and calls from the Ministry of Digital Transformation to the tool's developers.
