russia could soon run out of money to finance war – head of Ukraine’s intelligence

By the end of this spring, the russian federation may run out of "military tools" to achieve its goals in the war in Ukraine.

Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, made his assumptions about this in an interview with the USA TODAY media.

" Russia has wasted huge amounts of human resources, armaments, and materials. Its economy and production are not able to cover these losses. It's changed its military chain of command," the head of Ukrainian intelligence emphasized.

Budanov clarified that if the russian invaders do not achieve their goals this spring, russia will run out of "military tools."

Budanov further predicted that Ukraine and Russia would fight "a decisive battle this spring, and this battle will be the final one before this war ends." The publication clarified that he did not provide specific evidence to support his claims.

As USA TODAY points out, Budanov's forecast appeared to fit with the consensus view among independent military analysts that Russia currently lacks the ammunition, military supplies, and sufficient quantities of skilled, organized, and motivated soldiers to make significant progress in eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine's armed forces noted that the regular destruction of enemy warehouses with ammunition and fuel also hindered the active offensive intentions of the russian federation.
