The city of Nizhyn, in the Chernihiv region, received 20 electric generators from French partners.

The Nizhyn City Council wrote this on Facebook.

"Nizhyn received ten 2.8 kW generators and ten 3.3 kW generators from the French Civil Protection (Fédération Nationale de Protection Civile – FNPC – humanitarian and first aid voluntary association – ed.)," the post reads.
The city council clarified that the received generators would be distributed in the community in case of damage to the main power grids.

It should be noted that in November 2022, the mayor of Nizhyn, Oleksandr Kodola, took part in the 104th Congress of French Mayors – the world's largest annual forum of mayors.

Meetings at various levels marked the beginning of cooperation between Nizhyn and French charitable foundations and contributed to the city receiving significant support.

Rubryka reported that a unique bio-waste generator was created in the Ternopil region. Now the equipment is used for drying grain.
