Ukrainian drones suspected in oil depot fire in southern russia
A fire broke out at the rosneft oil depot last night in russia's city of tuapse, the krasnodar region.
Local residents complained about the explosions, and the network announced an "attack by Ukrainian drones," Meduza reports.
Citing russian Telegram channels, the fire at the oil depot started around two in the morning. At the same time, local residents heard how two explosions occurred on the territory of the oil depot with a difference of a few seconds.
Social media users say the oil depot area was allegedly "attacked by two unidentified aircraft." At the same time, russian propagandists traditionally pick up on this topic and already claim that "the UAVs were Ukrainian."
russian Telegram channels Baza and Shot say the oil depot was "attacked by drones filled with explosives" that fell 100 meters from the oil storage facility.
It is known that the boiler house was damaged as a result of the fire, and two one and a half meter deep holes were found next to the building.
30 meters from the site of the explosions, there are a barracks with military personnel of russia's defense ministry, as they write about it in the network.
Meanwhile, the local authorities traditionally reassure the russians and claim that "there are no reasons for concern." In particular, the rescuers reported that they allegedly managed to "quickly put out the fire," and the fire "did not touch the oil tanks, and there was no spillage of oil products."
The authorities of tuapse, as it's normal to russians, shut the residents, urging them "not to spread fake information", as "responsibility is foreseen" for this.
