The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, made video addresses to the Lithuanians, Germans, and Danes and expressed his gratitude for their countries' contribution in supporting Ukraine.

The head of state published his videos on Twitter.

It should be noted that the address to the Lithuanians took place on February 25. As Rubryka wrote, that was a day when a fundraising campaign for radar stations for Ukraine was completed with a result of 14 million euros.

Zelensky then spoke on the air of a special telethon with the top officials of Lithuania.

In his address to the Lithuanians, the president mentioned that Ukraine and Lithuania are united by centuries of shared history, and both peoples know well what the struggle for freedom is.

"Now is the time when we can win and guarantee our freedom with you, not just for years or decades – now is the time when we can protect our freedom with you forever… russian revanchism must forever forget about Kyiv and Vilnius, about Chisinau and Warsaw, about our brothers in Latvia, Estonia, Georgia and every other country that russian murderers now threaten. We can do it. We have this historic chance," the Ukrainian leader said.

The president expressed gratitude that Lithuania is doing "really everything" to support Ukraine, to take advantage of this chance, and Ukraine will never forget it.

"I believe that this year we can add another element to our common history – our joint victory in the war against a common enemy," Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The president also mentioned the "peace formula" proposed by Ukraine, which provides mechanisms to prevent new russian aggression.

Zelensky's address to Germany was broadcast in front of top officials at Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the President of Germany.

The head of Ukraine recalled the conclusions from the first year of aggression – that the existing security architecture and economic cooperation proved unable to restrain russian tanks. However, Europe and the entire free world managed to unite in support of Ukraine and common values.

" Can we win? Yes, we are capable of it. United. Determined. And unbreakable. We are able to end the russian aggression this year already… People of Germany, now is the time when our bravery and our weapons can restore peace and create a historically important deterrent to any aggression. No one will dare to start aggression against another nation when they know the free world will protect that nation. No one will ever again encroach on freedom when they know that the free world is determined enough to defend freedom. (…) No one will repeat February 24 last year when they know that no single occupier is left on the entire territory of Ukraine. We can ensure this together," Zelensky emphasized. He sincerely thanked Germany for all the assistance provided.

In Denmark, Zelensky's address seems to have been broadcast in front of people who went to a solidarity rally with Ukraine in the center of the capital.

" Thank you for realizing that freedom cannot be just a dream; it must be actions. Actions in defense of life and people, rules and respect, justice, and security.

Thank you, people of Denmark, for your actions! For the weapons that help our defense. For the policy that helps isolate the aggressor. For your willingness to join our reconstruction after hostilities. And, of course, for your belief that the project of a united and free Europe cannot be complete without Ukraine's full integration," the President of Ukraine said.

The Ukrainian head of state thanked Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and parliamentarians.

It should be noted that on the anniversary of the start of the full-scale war, demonstrations of solidarity with Ukraine were held in many European cities and Georgia.

In addition, russian tanks destroyed in Ukraine were displayed as exhibits in Berlin, Riga, and Tallinn.
