Saudi FM visits Zelensky on cooperation with Ukraine
Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky received Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Kyiv on Sunday.
Prince Faisal said the Kingdom is working with Ukraine to allocate the effects of russia's war on the state, Zelensky reports on Facebook.
"This is the first official visit of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
I believe it will be a new step for the further activation of our mutually beneficial dialogue," the president noted.
Zelensky expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for supporting peace in Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In September 2022, through the mediation of Saudi Arabia, russia agreed to release ten foreign prisoners of war who fought in Ukraine.
