Algeria to reopen embassy in Kyiv
Algeria plans to reopen its embassy in Kyiv, which was closed in connection with russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
The Guardian media refers to the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which deems such a decision to be a part of the preservation of the interests of the Algerian state and the interests of the national community in Ukraine.
The ministry stresses that the decision to open the embassy will take effect as soon as possible. A charge d'affaires will manage the embassy.
It should be noted that the embassy suspended its activities in Kyiv in March 2022 after russia launched its invasion.
