Zelensky spoke at the G7 meeting on war in Ukraine

"Ми вистояли в цей рік. Ми почали звільняти нашу землю від російського зла. Ми повертаємо безпеку в міжнародні відносини. І ми з вами можемо зробити цей рік – 2023-й – роком завершення російської агресії, роком повернення миру, роком звільнення нашої землі й наших людей із російської неволі", – заявив президент.
Zelensky thanked the US President Joe Biden for the military aid package and thanked the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, for the high-quality organization of the G7 work.
Zelensky discussed with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen the support of Ukraine's course for joining the European Union.
"This is your strategic vision of Europe. This is exactly the kind of view that has been lacking in European institutions for decades. Now that vision is there," the statement says.
